Transformational technology for a connected future
Disrupted is the leading annual conference about the future of work and technology. Hosted by Tech Manitoba, it delves deep into valuable insights and hard-hitting conversations from local, national, and international speakers on the future of technology.
Since 2017, Solv Communications has partnered with Tech Manitoba to publicize Disrupted to audiences locally and nationally. We’ve personally shared stories for some of these amazing international speakers:
Commander John Herrington – the first Indigenous American astronaut. He spent 14 days in space aboard the International Space Station. We worked alongside the Canadian Museum for Human Rights to link Commander Herrington virtually with 150 students from 15 remote northern communities in Manitoba.
Solv Communications personally invited the media to attend and received national coverage for Tech Manitoba.
David Usher – Four-time Juno award-winning musician/lead singer of Moist and founder of Reimagine AI. Usher showcased his digital hologram named Ophelia; she gets smarter through conversations with humans!
Learn how Usher is working with the Sheldon Memory Lab at McGill University on an AI initiative to develop companion bots for Alzheimer’s patients.
Ilana Ben-Ari (Founder/CEO & Designer, Twenty One Toys) – Ilana is disrupting the world of work and learning by asking what are the jobs of the future and how can we train ourselves to be indispensable to business success? The founder of the Empathy Toy, Ilana maintains that our “EQ – emotional quotient” is just as important as our IQ to the future of work.
See how the “empathy toy” is helping communities thrive in the face of technology and automation in the future of work.
