STNP01 – Carrington Real Estate
Positioning Premier High-Rise Property as Canada’s Newest Transit-Oriented Development
STNP01 is a purpose-built sixteen-storey apartment tower by Carrington Real Estate located along a rapid transit corridor in the south end of Winnipeg. When fully built, it will be home to 156 residential units, including a three-storey townhouse and 3,000 square feet of commercial retail space.
Carrington Real Estate, one of the top developers in Manitoba trusted Solv Communications to host a media event for their groundbreaking ceremony. The sod-turning event was attending by the Mayor, Council, VIPs and all media outlets. Coverage included TV, radio, newsprint and even a feature article in Canadian Apartment Magazine.
The Challenge
To understand the significance of this development, our team met with project stakeholders. Once project developers, architects, engineers and government officials had been identified, we were tasked with developing well-crafted press release describing this premier high-rise development as a symbol of progress and the start of a journey toward a much-needed accessible housing development.
To ensure Carrington’s significant milestone represented the start of their journey toward progress and growth, we needed to paint a picture for the media and the public of a future that the community could envision as their future home.
The Solution
Our team personally pitched every single local and a premiere national apartment publication to attend and publicize our event. We thoughtfully followed up with all media to answer questions and continue pitching the pending media event. Solv’s team members were on-site the day of to personally host the media and arrange interviews with the developer and other VIP in attendance.
