The Challenge
Ensuring the future workforce has opportunities to learn and develop the skills required to fill in-demand jobs is central to MITT’s values. By building partnerships with industry, business, and government, MITT is positioned to provide innovative pathways to quality high school, post-secondary education, and apprenticeship training.
With a goal to grow relationships with industry partners and increase student applications, MITT selected Solv Communications as their communications strategist of choice.
The Solution
Solv Communications’ focus was to share MITT’s story with mainstream media and influencers in business, and academia—both locally and nationally—to enhance brand awareness and drive recruitment.
We partnered with MITT to understand their communication needs and goals and tailored a customized communications strategy that outlined the path forward.
We turned our attention to crafting a series of stories featuring industry partnerships, graduate outcomes, and faculty thought leadership. These success stories demonstrate to industry and students what MITT can offer.
Through our vast network of media connections, we created a sustained awareness of MITT’s innovative programs in skilled trades, business and information technology, health care, and human services.
Results & impact
Since 2020, Solv Communications has secured hundreds of media hits and hosted multiple media events. We’ve also showcased industry events where media and business experienced MITT’s industry-driven, student-focused education first-hand.
Our partnership with MITT has resulted in strengthened industry collaboration and enhanced brand awareness. We have also provided media relations training, risk management consulting and continue to “bubble up the goodness” around the MITT story with local and national audiences.
