Nicole Harris, Founder & CEO of Solv Communications is one of Canada’s leading experts in PR and Reputation Management. She has over 25+ years experience in strategic communications, reputation management, storytelling and public relations. Nicole has advised brands of Fortune 500 companies, small and media enterprises, associations, and non-profits.

Her extensive industry knowledge and strategic thinking propel her clients to new heights with positive, local, national, and international publicity. She also advises clients on how to navigate and mitigate difficult challenges swiftly and safely.

Nicole began her career as a network broadcast journalist. She has worked for Corus Entertainment, Pattison Media, Rogers TV and other media outlets. Nicole’s career as a broadcast journalist has given her deep insight into the power of earning trust through strategic communications.

While in the media, she covered many of the major news events of our time, including the September 11th attacks in New York City, the Royal Tour to Winnipeg, Manitoba with Queen Elizabeth II, high-profile court cases including the Hells Angel mega-trial, risk management issues (fraud, cybercrime, labour unrest, product recalls, and more) as well as environmental disasters (1997 Red River “Flood of the Century”).

As founder and CEO of Solv Communications, Nicole consults develops and delivers tailored communication training programs for senior executives, board members, politicians and celebrities. Nicole has protected and promoted the brands of Fortune 500 companies, large and small businesses, as well as associations and non-profits throughout North America.

Fun fact: Nicole is on the JA Manitoba board of directors and is passionate about sharing her personal and professional experience and skills with students in grades 3-12 to teach them about financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship.
