Everything is awesome! Grand opening LEGO store
The Danish company, known for colourful interlocking plastic bricks, gears, mini figures and various other parts, opened its doors at the CF Polo Park in Winnipeg in 2015. It was the 10th LEGO store to open in Canada and the 88th in North America.
Solv Communications was called upon to take the LEGO grand opening to the next level. For this key event, we secured one of only seven LEGO master builders in the world.
Paul Chrzan is the first master builder from Denmark. He was responsible for the character Emmet. His work can be seen in the LEGO Movie—he designed the city of iconic colourful bricks featured at the end of the film.
Hundreds of LEGO fans attended the grand opening and participated in stations with LEGO bricks that could be assembled with the help of the master builder. These all became part of a giant, eight-foot-tall Yoda model.
