Keren Taylor-Hughes
Transformational Leadership
Keren Taylor-Hughes is a transformational Leadership Advisor, Former CEO, Merger & Acquisition Strategist & Board of Directors Member with a passion for implementing positive, lasting change within leaders and organizations.
Everything Keren has done in her 20+ year professional life is based on one key, foundational element that she learned early in her career: successful and sustainable change only comes after a mindset shift– which can only be inspired, not enforced. Her personal goal she strives to reach each day: to make a positive impact on the world by leading change that delivers value rooted in purpose, vision & impact.
Keren has leveraged her education, Bachelors of Arts degrees from University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg and a Masters of Leadership from Trinity Western University paired with several Change Management certifications to support the extensive reach of her career which spans many sectors, child welfare, healthcare, wealth management, agribusiness to name a few. Most recently Keren served as CEO of Harvest Manitoba, one of Canada’s most visible & impactful non-profit organizations.
She has supported numerous organizations across Canada & the U.S. to successfully navigate and implement transformation initiatives at the highest levels, for the past 20+ years. From small non- profits to publicly-traded companies with large-scale M&A’s affecting thousands, she has brought one consistent mindset to each organization she has worked with: a servant leadership approach.
Keren has had the opportunity to mentor, train and lead teams across the country. Listening, empathy and truly caring are not just value-added skills; they are part of who she is and how she approaches building relationships and orchestrating change. Each person she’s worked with has taught her something new about how to remain permanently curious as a leader: while she empowers others to achieve incredible things, they have empowered her as well.
She has been fortunate to have been the recipient of many community leaders in her youth and value their impact. Keren believes in giving back. She volunteers in many capacities with young adults; JDC coach, MBA mentor and presenter to the Leadership Program students. Recently she achieved the ICD.D designation and have been appointed to serve on the Shared Health Board of Directors and ICD Manitoba Chapter Executive.
